- Hangers are for storing individual sheets, Staple Strips for storing plan sets 1 -50 sheets, Heavy Duty Staple Strips for storing plan sets 50+ sheets and may be purchased separately.
Operation - To operate, unlock the file and pull the door open, the lid opens automatically. Sort through the drawings and slide forward as shown by the cross-hatched drawing. To open, hold the door handle, release the stop lever and pull. Remove the drawing through the side. Push the door back to the intermediate position. When complete, push all drawings to the rear, release the stop lever and close the file. This is a stable, tear proof polyester film hanger. It is self-adhesive and has a preprinted title block. It is prepunched with four holes on 13" and 18" centers. Your documents are prepared for vertical filing by simply removing the adhesive strip and attaching the hanger to the edge of the document. To identify your drawing number and title, a regular permanent marking felt tip pen can be used. To ease application of hangers to your documents (it is not essential, but does simplify and speed the application of the hangers) a Hanger Applicator may be purchased separately. The staple strip is a heavy duty plastic strip designed for stapling to prints gathered in sets. These sets can then be filed either for storage or use at the job site. The strip has prepunched holes and an offset identification tab for marking in the title and job number. The staple strip can hold 1-50 sheets and the heavy duty staple strip can hold 50+ sheets. Plastic Out Card for Removed Documents
This is a polyester strip which is designed to replace documents when they are removed from the file. The strip extends above the normal hanger strip and is indicated with a bright red "OUT" label to identify the position of any removed documents.

Hanger Applicator
Applicator designed to help the user apply the polyester hanger strip to the edge of the document. It is not essential, but does simplify and speed the application of the hangers. It is especially useful for larger documents where handling is difficult and alignment of the strip with the document edge is important.
